Very Berry Black Berry Dump Cake

This recipe was submitted by Rosemarie Swallow

4 - cups fresh blackberries, drained
1 - 3 oz box raspberry or blackberry jell-o
1/3 - cup sugar or splenda
1 - 18 oz box yellow or butter cake mix
1 1/2 - cups water
1 - 2 - sticks butter, melted
(your preference, but I recommed two sticks)
1/2 - cup pecans pieces, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread berries into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Mix jell-O and sugar together and sprinkle over the berries. Sprinkle the cake mix over the jell-o and berries. If using nuts add them now. Pour the melted butter over the cake mix and then slowly add the water.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cake is done when a toothpick inserted into the cake portion comes out clean. Let cool before serving. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Note: I used fresh blackberries that had been frozen. If using frozen berries make sure to drain off any of the juice before adding them to the baking pan.

Trix Krispie Treats

I found this recipe on a blog I follow and had to give it a try!!
All you need is:
10 cups of Trix cereal (I used the WF Brand imitation of Trix)
10 1/2 oz. pkg of mini marshmallows
4 Tbsp. Butter

Measure out your cereal first. Have a large cake pan already greased and ready to go. Then you melt your butter in a good sized pot. When it's melted add the mini marshmallows. When the marshmallows are completely melted remove from heat and add the cereal into the pot. Stir it really good until the cereal is coated. WARNING this is a VERY sticky job!!  I added a smidge of butter to my hands so when I pressed the treats into the pan I didn't get as sticky!! These are simple and fun to make!!! ENJOY!!!! :)

Taco Soup

This recipe was submitted by Jan Rennert. This is so yummy and doesn't heat up the house!!!

Things you will need:
2 lbs of Hamburger (cooked and drained)
2 lg cans of diced tomatoes
1 lg. can of tomato sauce
1 can of sweet corn (Drained)
1 can of Great White Northern Beans(drained and rinsed) (you can use pintos, kidney, red beans instead)
1pkg. Taco seasoning
grated cheese
sour cream

When the meat is cooked put it in a large pot and add all other ingredients. Let boil really good. The longer it cooks the better just because it mixes all the yummy flavors together. When you are ready to serve this put in individual bowls, sprinkle some grated cheese on top add a tsp. of sour cream on top and frito's. My family likes it with tortilla strips instead.
ENJOY!!! :)

Heavenly No Bake Cookies

This recipe is OH SO YUMMY!!!!  This is what you will need:
1C. butter
1C. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2C. milk
3C. oats
1C. peanut butter
Wax paper on a cookie sheet

First you melt your butter in a pan. (While the butter is melting I measure out my oats and put in a separate bowl and set aside.) When it is melted then you add the sugar, cocoa and milk. Stir it really good and let it boil for about 2 mins. Make sure to keep stirring so you don't burn it. Then add the peanut butter and vanilla. Stir again until the peanut butter is all melted. When it's all melted pour the mixture into the bowl that the oats are in and mix all together. Mix well and drop by spoonfuls on the wax paper and then put them in the fridge to chill. These are sooooooo good!!!  ENJOY!!!
